Round 4 of the Corvette Challenge at Moroso Motorsports Park has been won by Dino Ramirez in his 91. This is Dino's 2nd win of the season out of 4 races. Dino took the final round when his opponent John Perez driving his 2003 had a little premature acceleration and went red. Congratulations Dino on your 2nd win this season. Our sponsor Horse Power Sales of Pompano Beach was out there racing their blue 80, nice to see the Chris and the car out on the track. Mike Clark, who earlier in the day took out a tire wall while at Sebring on the roadcourse, showed up with a banged up racecar in the hopes of retaining his 2nd. place points status, which he did.

The ladies were out tonight having fun, our regular Paulette Glover was out there in her 69, Paulette's car was running 11.53 tonight but her husband felt 2nd. round the car was warm and changed her dial to a 11.55 well she naturally ran 11.53 and broke out, poor guy I think he's still hiding from her as I type this. Georgia Lyons came out to make her 1st. ever runs in the Challenge. Great job ladies!

We had a few long distance drivers from the Florida Corvette Challenge at Bradenton make the long ride down to Moroso, they are... Craig Gingerich from Sarasota, Mark Polijowicz from Cape Coral, Olivier Mader from Clearwater, and Bob Korreck from Zolfo Springs. Guy's, thanks for the continued support, we appreciate your dedication. Had 2 C6's out there, Ernie from Breathless brought out his R&D car again this month as did James Robertson in his Black 05. 23 racers hit the track tonight. As in months past we had a blast. Big THANKS to the STAFF of MOROSO MOTORSPORTS PARK for taking care of us each month. REMEMBER our next event is on JULY 2nd. See you all there. NEXT SATURDAY May 14th. at Bradenton Motorsports Park, NHRA through the NATIONAL DRAGSTER CHALLENGE has put up a WALLY for the Corvette Challenge participants.
