* 2005 Standings Jeff Brohman wins Event 3!

Another first time winner takes round three of the Corvette Challenge @ Moroso Motorsports Park. Congratulations to Jeff Brohman on his win. Mike Clark took home his second runner-up trophy of the season. We had another great turnout with 36 Corvettes showing up, and 25 running in the Challenge. Track prep at Moroso again was excellent. Had a few competitors make the long ride to Moroso, they are Marc Fisher, Bob Korreck, and Olivier Mader. Marc and Olivier were sent home early as both went red in the first round. Marc gave the first round win to event winner Jeff Brohman. Bob Korreck went into round two where he went red giving the win to tonight's runner-up Mike Clark. The night started out very windy and cool but the 25 racers quickly warmed up to mother nature. Round one saw seven drivers go out do to premature acceleration. Round two saw four cars go red and round three saw two go red. Round three had Jeff Brohman and opponent Steven Davis both breaking out with Jeff taking the round. Mike Clark had the bye into the fourth round. Round four had Jeff again taking the win this time over Ron Celli. Runner-up Mike Clark had the grudge race he and his opponent John Perez had wished for all night with Perez treeing Clark and breaking out. Final round had Brohman against Clark, both were slow at the lights Jeff with a .305 and Mike with a .503. Thats all Jeff needed to take his first Corvette Challenge win and the first place trophy home for round three of the Corvette Challenge. Congratulations to all the competitors, we had a great time.
