Our second Challenge at Moroso went great with 28 Vettes showing up and 26 running for the points. Dino Ramirez came home as our winner tonight running his 91 to a 13.02 on a 13.02 dial for the final round win. Great job Dino. Alan Slaney took home the runner-up hardware driving his 02 and had a great night as well. Paulette Glover brought out her beautiful 69 running in the 11’s. Jack Coe had his mint 68 out on the track for a few passes as well. Mark Polijowicz made the trip down from Cape Coral in his 79 and went to the second round before the red light bit him. We had one of our sponsors Les, from www.Z06Vette.com out on the track with us. Thanks to his wife for loaning him her Vert.

Roger and the crew from Horse Power Sales of Pompano Beach were out there with goodie bags for the racers and to give starting line advice, thanks guy’s the help is greatly appreciated. Marc Fisher who came in second at the Florida Corvette Challenge in Bradenton made the trip down from Lake Wales. Marc promptly eliminated me in the first round and went all the way to the semies where he red lighted against the eventual winner Dino. All in all a great night of racing. Don’t forget next week is the Horse Power Sales Chevy Show on both Saturday 3/12 and Sunday 3/13 Corvettes can come and run in the Corvette Shootout portion of the event on Sunday. I’ll be there and hope to see some of you as well. Thanks for everyones continued support of the Corvette Challenge Series I’ll see you at the track.
